Final whoop night of 2025 and a nugget of Antihype wisdom came floating back to me. In a competition, you'll usually only get 6-10 qualifying runs at a track to get your fastest time. So there is no point grinding 100's of packs on a single course.
To prepare for a real race, you need to be able to read, memorise, and fly great packs very quickly. It's a skill worth training to help boost your competition results.
So going into 2026 I'm going to set a track at each whoop night, but then halfway thru the evening, swap direction. We will still be flying 4x the number of packs in a real race scenario, but I'll be doubling the exposure to learning "new" tracks.
Let's see if this helps!
And what do you think of this week's track clockwise vs anticlockwise?
