We're excited to announce that Rotor Racers will be taking part in this year’s SciENGINEERING Showcase, a landmark event at Millennium Point designed to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
On June 23, 2025, the venue will be buzzing with excitement as over 1,000 schoolchildren from across the West Midlands get hands-on with science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) through immersive workshops, dynamic demonstrations, and industry-led insights. And yes—you guessed it—we’re bringing the thrill of FPV drone racing into the mix!
Bringing STEM to Life—Through the Eyes of a Drone
As a company devoted to teaching people how to fly and race FPV drones, we're proud to be part of an event that celebrates innovation, learning, and engineering in action. Our mission is simple: make drone flight accessible, exciting, and empowering. Through structured and engaging sessions, we guide total beginners from their very first take-off to flying confidently through a racecourse and chasing personal bests.
At the Showcase, students will be able to:
Try their hand at flying FPV drones in a safe, supportive environment
Learn how drone racing relates to real-world engineering and aerospace
Discover how they can get involved in STEM beyond the classroom
See how leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving come into play when building and running a drone racing club
From one-off experiences for curious kids to full leadership packages that equip future leaders to start their own FPV clubs—we're here to inspire and educate.
