Every great event starts with a few good eggs.

Be a volunteer and help us hatch something incredible.

It all started in 2024 when BIRD got too much for me. It was still an amazing event in a great place (that 4 storey dive gate…) but the work required to get it put up, taken down, produced, commentary, VAR, organising, sponsor posts, photos, interviews… honestly, the list goes on. It all became too much and meant me and a few close friends had a hard job doing it all.

But then in 2025 I put out a call for volunteers and I was blown away by the number of people who want to make BIRD, the best micro FPV racing event of the year. SO MANY people helped out, mucked in and joined the flock of volunteers that it was an absolutely amazing event - the best by a long way - all because of the volunteers who helped out, had fun, made new friends and did stuff to create something awesome.

So now it’s time for BIRD 2026 and I’m asking for volunteers.

If you want to get involved for just a couple hours, or the whole event, we will be glad to have you along to help out. And as a thank you, we have a great range of benefits for the birds of a feather that help us take flight!
