BTW League – Race #3
Race 3 of the BTW League brought another great day of racing, with a few familiar faces joined by some new challenges, plenty of tinkering, and a healthy dose of friendly competition.
We were particularly pleased to have KiKi join us for the Saturday, taking some time out of her hectic schedule to come and race with us. It was great to have her on the track and she added another dimension to the competition.

Meanwhile, Pickle FPV spent a good part of the day doing what Pickle does best — fixing his whoops! Having already been bitten by the DIY bug, he also took the opportunity to learn some soldering skills. Thankfully, Blueprint came to the rescue, lending Pickle his soldering kit and helping tutor the young pilot through the process. So while some pilots were concentrating on finding the perfect racing line, Pickle was learning how to repair the aircraft he was supposed to be racing with. Progress!
There was also a prize on offer away from the racing itself, with James TX winning a rather excellent 3D-printed whoop storage box. Finished in a stylish purple, the case is ideal for travelling, with space for the whoops, batteries and charger all neatly packed together. A very handy bit of kit for any travelling whoop pilot.

Behind the scenes, Blueprint did a great job taking on the role of Race Director and keeping everything moving. Running a race isn't just about flying — someone has to keep track of the pilots, races and results, and Blueprint handled the job brilliantly.

By the end of the day's racing, it was MiniR๑llsRule who came out on top, taking the overall win. James TX followed in second, with Pickle FPV completing the podium in third.
