BTW League Kicks Off with a Thrilling Start — Lex_FPV Dominates the Track!

🚀 The Start of a New FPV Racing Season

The BTW League has officially launched its new season — and what an opening race it was! Lex_FPV stormed to first place, locking in valuable leaderboard points and setting the tone for the season ahead.

Designed to follow TWUK rules with double elimination finals, the BTW League serves as a local training ground for FPV pilots to sharpen their racing skills, understand timing systems, and learn the ropes of competitive whoop racing.

🏆 A Perfect Mix of Fun, Learning, and Friendly Competition

This event wasn’t just about podiums — it was about building skills and community. New pilots got hands-on training in reading a track, preparing their whoops, and understanding race formats. Most importantly, they got to feel the excitement of live FPV racing!

After a short setup delay, Blueprint had the timing system running smoothly, and the first heats took off under the glow of a beautifully illuminated LED track. The atmosphere was electric as pilots practiced, qualified, and exchanged tips — all while keeping things relaxed and friendly.

And yes, there was even time for a midday carvery break (because who says racers can’t enjoy a roast?) before the double elimination rounds kicked into gear.

⚡ Epic Battles and Breakout Performances

One of the day’s highlights came when Pickle, a young up-and-coming pilot, went head-to-head with veteran ScoobyAir. ScoobyAir’s trademark consistency held strong for most of the race — until a few late slip-ups gave Pickle the chance to snatch the win in a dramatic finish.

Meanwhile, Blueprint managed to balance running the timing system and racing himself — not an easy feat! After finding his rhythm, he secured a well-earned 3rd place finish and plenty of respect from fellow racers.

In the final showdown, it was Lex_FPV vs. Minirollsrule, and Lex_FPV’s pace proved unbeatable. He pulled ahead early, maintained a commanding lead, and crossed the finish line to claim 1st place — leaving Minirollsrule in a solid 2nd.
