A few more packs before DISASTER. This was the last flying session before the TWUK Finals and I've managed to pull the ground pad off my very favourite and last well flying whoop along with breaking off my RX antenna. 😭
All I could do was discharge all my packs back to store voltage unused, before sitting out the rest of the evening. It wasn't so bad, i had a great catch up with my whoop friends.
Fixing it was not a pigeon poop lumpy field soldering bodge-it job, I'd need to sort this one out properly.
And if a motor wire goes, others are usually not far behind so that Friday, just before setting off for the race, I re-flowed all my motor joints to give me the best chance of reliability. The ground pad was toast so now I'm grounded to the usb socket casing 👍
It works, it flies, I'll just send it 🤞
